PEAKING LIGHTS (US)
Husband and wife dub-noise / psych pop duo Peaking light released their amazing album 936 on Not Not Fun back in March, causing quite the stir in the international blogosphere with their exciting mix of dreamy pop music and bass-heavy dub grooves. Recently the duo signed to Domino’s sub label Weird World (Washed Out, Smith Westerns) who are re-releasing the record in November as a pre-lude to the new album that’s coming out early 2012. In the meantime Peaking Lights also put together a wonderful mixtape featuring an eclectic range of oriental sounds, groovy pop music, dub and reggae, guiding us gently through their sonic landscape. And what a landscape it is! We can’t begin to tell you how psyched we are to have them on the bill tonight.

Köhn (BE)
Köhn is one of the musical alter egos of Ghent based noisemaker and visual artist Jürgen De Blonde (Ed Nolbed, The Portables). As Köhn he released a split 7″ with Ducktails, Alien Radio… and Peaking Lights. So tonight’s show should be the perfect match. Expect to hear some material off his new album Random Patterns, that came out in October on KRAAK.
